Even the best blades on the best table saws wobble to some extent, yielding imprecise cuts or unsightly kerf marks on the edge of a board. A good blade stabilizer like this Freud model can make the difference between common woodworking and fine woodworking. Freud's blade stabilizer has excellent balance and more weight than competing models, and, when used with a good blade, it produces excellent results every time. While the stabilizer is great for ensuring accurate rips in thin stock, as well as perfect dados and rabbets, you may need to remove it when working with thicker stock because the size of the stabilizer can prevent the blade from raising to its full height and keep the saw from reaching its maximum tilt. Freud's blade stabilizer is as good as they come, though, and definitely a worthwhile investment for any woodworker looking for the finest results. Fits saws with a 1-inch arbor. --Brian Trinen
